Join a dedicated volunteer community to help restore and maintain a 53-acre riparian forest, the Headwaters Sanctuary.
Volunteers work in various groups to cover a variety of necessary tasks. Volunteers work in our pollinator garden (weeding, pruning, and planting/ spreading mulch when needed) and riparian forest (trail maintenance, invasive plant removal, debris collection, and broadcasting seed/planting as needed). At times, we call upon all volunteers to work as a team to perform seasonal tasks which are time sensitive. Headwaters provides tools, equipment, supplies, and work gloves. Volunteers bring their own water supply.
Register for the volunteer session by contacting volunteer@headwaters-iw.org. Meet up locations and parking information, weather cancellations, and any other info is issued by email only to registrants.
We are not accepting walk-in volunteers at this time.
