Join us for FREE learning and fun for all ages! The culmination of our week long celebration of native wildlife and habitat will be a family-oriented, gathering on the grounds of the historic Brackenridge Villa. Learn about bees, bats, birds, snakes, native plants, invasive plants, rain gardens, and the importance of milkweed. View a live drone tour of the Sanctuary and pick up a free native tree for your yard from CPS. Norma Lara will offer face painting and several raffle prizes will be available. Food trucks will sell a variety of snacks and meals. Nature-themed gifts will be available for purchase. “Flight of the Butterflies” will be shown at 3:30 p.m. at the UIW Mabee Library Auditorium, adjacent to the celebration.
