Historically, bats have had a bad reputation. Coco Brennan will discuss the many benefits bats provide humans and debunk the common myths about them. Threats to bats and how we can help them will be addressed. Along with a general discussion of bats, Ms. Brennan will speak on the Mexican Free-tailed Bats and their role in our region specifically. Information about the Bracken Cave Preserve, owned and managed by Bat Conservation International, will be offered.

Coco Brennan is a Texas Master Naturalist and a volunteer for Bat Conservation International at the Bracken Cave Preserve.
